PVC Ecological Fencing and its uses for Dubai

pvc eco fence

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) fencing, also known as vinyl fencing, is a popular option for homeowners and businesses because of its durability, low maintenance, and attractive appearance. PVC fencing is made from a type of plastic that is designed to mimic the look of traditional wood fencing, but without the need for regular staining or painting.

There are several different types of PVC fencing available, including picket fences, ranch-style fences, privacy fences, and semi-privacy fences. Picket fences are popular for their traditional look and are often used to define property lines or to create a decorative boundary around a lawn or garden. Ranch-style fences, which are typically taller and have fewer pickets than traditional picket fences, are often used to contain horses or other large animals. Privacy fences are typically used to provide a sense of seclusion and can be made from solid or semi-solid panels that block the view of the surrounding area. Semi-privacy fences are similar to privacy fences, but they have gaps or spaces between the panels that allow some visibility.

PVC fencing is also very versatile and can be customized to suit the specific needs and preferences of a property owner. For example, it can be made in a variety of colors and styles to match the aesthetic of the surrounding area, and it can be cut to fit a variety of different lot shapes and sizes. Additionally, PVC fencing is resistant to weathering, rotting, and termite damage, so it is well-suited for use in areas with high humidity or heavy rainfall.

Another great advantage of PVC fencing is that it is environmentally friendly and easy to recycle. This can also make it a more cost-effective option in the long run because it won’t need as much upkeep and doesn’t contribute to deforestation.

Overall, PVC fencing is a durable, low-maintenance, and attractive option for homeowners and businesses looking for a fencing solution that requires minimal upkeep and offers excellent value for the price.

In the context of Dubai, PVC fencing can be an ecologically-friendly option for a number of reasons. One of the main benefits of PVC fencing is that it is a synthetic material, which means that it does not require the use of resources such as wood or metal to produce. This can help to conserve natural resources and reduce the environmental impact of the fencing industry.

Additionally, PVC fencing is also highly durable and weather-resistant, meaning that it can withstand the harsh desert climate of Dubai without needing to be replaced or repaired frequently. This means that PVC fencing can help to reduce the overall amount of waste that is generated in the region.

Another potential use of PVC fencing in Dubai is for privacy, particularly in the residential area, to provide residents with more security and privacy while also allowing them to enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding desert landscape.

Overall PVC fencing could be a suitable option for the residents and business of Dubai as it offers a low-maintenance and durable solution. It also is a good option to keep in mind for desert climates and hot weather.

PFMB/PSMR, On Aluminum Alloy 3003-H14 Coils With PSMR( 75 Micron )

PFMB/PSMR

PFMB/PSMR is a type of material that is applied to aluminum coils in order to prevent moisture from penetrating the surface. This is typically done to protect the aluminum from corrosion and other forms of damage that can occur as a result of exposure to moisture. PSMB, or Polysurlin Moisture Barrier, is similar to PFMB/PSMR and also used to prevent moisture to penetrate the surface on the Aluminum alloy 3003-H14 coils with PSMR( 75 micron ). It is a polyethylene-based product which is used as a moisture barrier on aluminum coils. Both are used as a protective layer to protect the aluminum coils from moisture

PFMB/PSMR

PFMB/PSMR are two different methods used to improve the flatness and surface quality of aluminum alloy 3003-H14 coils. PFMB is a process that uses a high-pressure feeder to level and straighten the material before it is cut into sheets or blanks. This process is typically used for materials that have a high degree of spring back, or that are prone to twisting or warping.

PSMR, on the other hand, is a process that uses multiple rolls to apply pressure to the material, which helps to improve its flatness and surface quality. This process is typically used for materials that have a lower degree of spring back, or that are less prone to twisting or warping.

Both PFMB and PSMR are used to improve the flatness and surface quality of aluminum alloy 3003-H14 coils, and the choice of which process to use will depend on the specific properties of the material and the desired end result.

There are five factors that make PFMB superior to paint or polykraft moisture barriers as a corrosion preventative for metal jacketing systems.

PFMB is 3 layers thick:

While paint and polykraft are both formed of a single layer of material, PFMB/PSMR is constructed from three different layers of HDPE and LDPE. Each of these layers is made to be scratch-resistant and to prevent pinholes from forming, which could lead to water seeping through to the jacketing.

Zero pinholes:

The ASTM C1785 test is designed to determine the number of pinholes per 50 square feet of moisture barrier employed on jacketing interiors. Polykraft normally has roughly 16 pinholes, whereas paint typically has more than 19 pinholes. PFMB/PSMR, in contrast, has no pinholes. This significantly lessens the possibility of corrosion occurring when water comes into touch with the internal surface of the metal jacketing.

Scratch-resistant::

Compared to paint or polykraft, PFMB/PSMR is significantly more scratch-resistant due to its three layers of thickness. Three-layer thick PFMB gives significantly more durability than paint, which is readily scratched off, or polykraft, which is easily torn. A scratch-resistant surface can be a crucial component in industrial applications where materials need to be durable and long-lasting to safeguard your metal jacketing system.

Excellent adhesion to the substrate:

The metal jacketing substrate and PFMB/PSMR are heat-laminated at the manufacturing. It will be less likely to peel or flake off while in use because of the great adherence it provides to the metal surface. A vulnerability where water can enter is created if the moisture barrier lining the jacketing separates from the metal substrate.

Low water-vapor transmission rate:

PFMB has a water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) of less than 0.05, in contrast to a polykraft barrier that has a WVTR of roughly 1. Additionally, unlike polykraft, PFMB/PSMR doesn’t have the ability to absorb water because it doesn’t contain any paper in its manufacturing. Using materials that prevent water penetration can be crucial to properly safeguarding your jacketing system because the goal is to prevent water from coming into contact with the surface of the jacketing.

By acting as a barrier to stop crevice, pitting, and galvanic corrosion, PFMB offers straightforward, inexpensive, and efficient protection against the metal jacket and pipe corrosion. The moisture barrier must be water-resistant, pinhole-free, robust, scratch-resistant, and durable to prevent water from creating corrosion in the jacket and pipes. Only PFMB has all of these essential qualities while also being affordable and simple to use.

(PSMR) POLYSURLYN MOISTURE RETARED

PSMR stands for “polysurlyn moisture retarder,” which is a layer of material that is applied to the interior surface of metal roofing and wall panels to prevent moisture from penetrating and causing damage to the building. It typically consists of a polyethylene or polypropylene film that is laminated to the metal surface, and it is often used in conjunction with other moisture protection systems, such as vapor barriers and insulation.

Aluminum alloy 3003-H14 coils are a type of aluminum alloy that is composed of aluminum, manganese, and a small amount of magnesium. The H14 in the name indicates that it is strain hardened, which improves its strength and hardness properties. The coils have PSMR (75 microns) coating on one side, which is a type of paint system that provides a smooth, high-quality finish on the surface of the aluminum. The other side of the coils is a bare stucco finish, which is a rough, textured finish that is commonly used on aluminum coils. The thickness of the coils is 0.5 mm.

Polysurlyn moisture barrier has advantages:

1, Simple, inexpensive, and efficient resistance against the pipe and metal jacket corrosion;

2. In cold and hot pipe/tank applications provides a barrier to crevice or pitting corrosion on the inner jacket surface;

3, acts as a barrier against the jacket or pipe’s galvanic corrosion in hot situations;

4, Less water absorption than kraft paper;

5, Won’t lose quality, turn yellow, or tear when exposed to water;

6, offers protection against abrasion during installation;

7, Long-term reliability and immunity to numerous environmental toxins.
